Topic: Introduction to Science Club

Welcome Everyone!!!

It is always a great joy to start a brand new semester.

For today's meeting, we spent some time introducing our club and sharing about ourselves. The main activity, which was introduced by club leader Joshua Kim, was announced as the SNU Academic Exchange. Through this project, the science club members will have a chance to meet professors from different scientific fields. We will be able to ask questions, learn about their expertise, and build our own analysis and discussions.

Each professor will be targetting a specific branch of science. This means we will be able to ask questions more freely. It seems to be an interesting new project for us.

After that, we had an ice-breaking session with fun Golden Bell quizzes. We started with basic quetions, like "What is the chemical symbol of water?" to more challenging ones such as "Which idea is included inside the second law of thermodynamics?"

With today's orientation as our starting point, we are really looking forward to the activities in this semester. Also, we hope we can make future activities both meaningful and enjoyable to our club members.
