[2024 - 2025 Semester 1 Try Out #1]: Orientation + Discussion on Oxidation

In the first official try-out of the Science Club, the leaders delivered an orientation on the club and its future plans. This year, the Science Club has decided to focus on studying deep scientific subjects with groups, fostering peer discussion and interaction.

Today, the members split into groups of 5 and discussed about this week's topic: oxidation & reduction of the electron. The new group leaders took the initiative to help younger and new members learn about the complex concepts.

Due to the shortage of time, the members could not participate in the Kahoot, so the leaders decided to leave the Kahoot for the next meeting. Instead, the leaders delivered a short lecture on the basics of Chemistry to help younger members understand.

In overall, the meeting was successful and interesting with all members participating passionately in the discussions. The members planned to perform an experiment for the next meeting.
